ENDIAMA signed, this Tuesday, in Cape Town, South Africa, a mining investment contract for prospecting, exploration and marketing of diamonds, with the company N'Dumba, Ltd, a subsidiary of the Jean Boulle Group.
The N'Dumba concession, located in the Lunda-Norte province, covers an area of 222 km² and includes kimberlite and alluvial deposits.
The contract establishes the creation of a joint venture, responsible for the exploration and mining activities of alluvial deposits within the concession limits.
The document signed on the sidelines of Mining Indaba reinforces Angola's commitment to attracting strategic investments to the mining sector, consolidating its position as one of the world's leading diamond producers.
The contract signing ceremony took place in Room 9 of the Cape Town International Convention Centre, and was witnessed by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, and the Angolan Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, Rui Xavier.
