DFHK and QDE Sign MoU to Strengthen Global Diamond Trade Cooperation

The Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China (DFHK) and the Qatar Diamond Exchange (QDE) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 15, 2026, establishing a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening cooperation across the global diamond and precious gemstones trade.

The partnership will promote bilateral commercial matchmaking and facilitate stronger business connections between members of both organisations. It will also encourage reciprocal on-site visits, industry exchanges and greater collaboration between stakeholders in Hong Kong and Qatar.

As part of the agreement, DFHK and QDE will jointly advocate for and promote natural diamonds and precious gemstones, while working to strengthen awareness and confidence across international markets.

The two organisations will also collaborate to uphold and advance the highest ethical and professional standards within the global trade, supporting a more transparent, responsible and connected industry.

The MoU marks a significant step towards deeper industry cooperation and new business opportunities.
