Dr. Benedito Paulo Manuel Invested as an Immortal Academician of ABRASCI, Reinforcing the International Projection of Angolan Excellence

The Director-General of the Catoca Mining Company, Dr. Benedito Paulo Manuel, was solemnly invested, this Wednesday, January 25th, as an Immortal Academician of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History and Literature, as part of the ceremony “Honoring the Heroes of the Liberation of Angola”, held in Luanda. The investiture represents an act of high academic prestige, conferring upon the honoree the lifelong status of member of the College of Immortal Academicians. With this distinction, he becomes part of a platform dedicated to the production, promotion and dissemination of scientific, cultural and intellectual knowledge, with projection in the Lusophone and international space. With over a century of activity, ABRASCI has established itself as a leading institution in the appreciation of science, arts, history, and literature, promoting academic exchange and strengthening cultural cooperation between countries.

The ceremony brought together various national and international academic, scientific, and cultural entities, as well as personalities of recognized merit in the fields of teaching, research, and institutional leadership. On this occasion, other Angolan academics were also inducted, reinforcing the national presence in academia and consolidating networks of intellectual cooperation. The Catoca Mining Society was represented by an institutional delegation composed of Executive Directors, Department Heads, Specialists, and Non-Executive Managers. The event also included the presence of Directors from Endiama and distinguished institutional guests, giving it high significance in both business and academic terms. The distinction granted to Dr. Benedito Paulo Manuel constitutes recognition of his academic and professional career, as well as his contribution to institutional strengthening and the appreciation of knowledge as a strategic asset for sustainable development.
