Danish fine jewellery designer Sophie Bille Brahe has unveiled her first high jewellery collection, 'Tangerine Sky', marking a significant milestone for the luxury jewellery house. The exclusive eight-piece collection launched at Harrods and was celebrated with an intimate dinner at Claridge's, London, attended by friends of the brand.
Founded in 2011, the Copenhagen-based designer has built an international following for her contemporary aesthetic, characterised by flowing diamond arrangements, luminous pearls and sculptural motifs. With Tangerine Sky, Bille Brahe translates this distinctive design language into one-of-a-kind high jewellery creations crafted in polished 18-karat white gold and exceptional natural diamonds.
Inspired by the work of renowned American artist Cy Twombly, the collection explores the interplay of lightness and movement. Bille Brahe said the exhibition of Twombly's work in New York inspired her to create jewellery that makes gold and diamonds appear fluid, delicate and almost weightless.
The collection features heart-shaped diamonds alongside round, pear and cushion-cut stones, arranged through subtle asymmetry and graduated compositions. Every centre diamond is fully traceable before being cut, polished and handcrafted by skilled artisans in Italy.
Describing the launch as the fulfilment of a long-held vision, Bille Brahe noted that the collection represents the forms and craftsmanship she has been working towards throughout her career.
The debut of Tangerine Sky reinforces Sophie Bille Brahe's position in the international luxury jewellery segment while expanding her brand into the exclusive world of high jewellery with a strong focus on artistry, traceability and exceptional natural diamonds.
