DMCC to host inaugural Middle East Gems & Jewellery Forum in Dubai

Gold, diamond and pearls account for much of the non-oil and energy commodity-based trade in the region, and DMCC has extensively contributed to and supported these industries.

Businesses and industry participants look for a place where they can expand, access new markets, and trade with confidence. DMCC is the Government Authority that provides a strong international platform to encourage networking and trade to further drive Dubai’s position as more than just a transfer point between East and West.

To continue its efforts to support, invest and grow the jewellery industry in Dubai, DMCC is launching the inaugural annual Middle East Gem and Jewellery Forum (MEGJF) on Sunday 9 November 2014. More

IDE to advance "Natural Is real" during Israel Diamond Week on Diamond Dealers Club trading floor, November 10-13, 2014

The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) will be advancing its "Natural Is real" campaign during the Israel Diamond Week in New York to be held next month at the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC). The campaign, which was launched during last year's Israel Diamond Week in New York, stresses the Israeli diamond industry and trade's commitment to natural diamonds. The Israeli diamond center is well known for its manufacturing and trading of larger, higher quality, natural diamonds.

"The 'Natural Is real' campaign was received very well when we introduced it in New York last year but possibly has not trickled down through the diamond supply pipeline," said Alon - (Loney) Grinker, an independent diamantaire and IDE board member who came up with the slogan and campaign. More
