Broad expertise in the field of diamond met in the Namibian capital, Windhoek. The second International Diamond Conference (also known as Omugongo: A Cut Above The Rest) (DiamondsNamibia.na/omugongo), this year brought together more than 150 worldwide stakeholders, Honourable Ministers, industry experts, academics, business leaders, manufacturers and the media. Their goal: to discuss challenges facing diamond beneficiation in Southern Africa: How to make this industry viable and sustainable.
