Stars Being Duped By Their Diamonds Put Spotlight On Natural Vs Lab-Grown
Is it surprising that Millennials and others are turning to so-called lab-grown diamonds. Actually, wouldn't "factory-made" be a more appropriate term given the circumstances in which they are made around the clock? But that's a different topic.
I ask the question regarding Millennials because I just read an interesting article that was in the US press recently which spoke about the number of celebrities who are being "duped" into buying jewelry set with synthetic stones.
One jeweler to the stars said that that many celebrities are coming to him with jewelry set with lab-grown diamonds worth far less than what they originally paid for them.
