Announces Bharat Diamond Week [BDW] show dates
Slated to Open from 5th to 7th August 2020
Bharat Diamond Bourse [BDB], the largest Diamond bourse announced the show dates for the fourth edition of the coveted Bharat Diamond Week [BDW], world’s biggest polished Diamond and Diamond Jewellery show. The ‘only Diamond’ show will open on the 5th of August and will run till the 7th of August 2020 in Mumbai, India. BDW in its fourth edition is anticipated to be an important event for the International Diamond sector and is pitted to be a game changer for the segment that has been witnessing a slow down lately. Over 150+ Large, medium and small sized diamond companies would be displaying highest of quality polished diamonds during the fair. BDW will also play host to thousands of International and local buyers travelling to the show.

Russian banks start granting loans to ALROSA's

International diamond manufacturer Dali Diamond, one of ALROSA's long-term clients, signed a loan agreement with EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA (part of the Russian Export Center Group) for the financing of rough diamond purchases from ALROSA.

Effective immediately, GIA (Gemological Institute of America) will suspend diamond sealing services. The Institute is taking this action after recently encountering a small number of GIA sealing packets that had been compromised by third parties after the sealing packets left GIA.
