Bharat Diamond Bourse resolves to allow trade of Lab Grown Diamonds

Bharat Diamond Bourse, World’s largest Diamond Exchange in its 10th successful Year has approved an important step towards building the Diamond business for the future by embracing Lab Grown Diamond Trade into its fold. The Bourse committee and members passed a resolution during its meeting on 28th December 2020 regarding allowing the members to trade Lab Grown Diamonds as well within the complex.

The Managing committee will frame rules and guidelines shortly and decide the date of commencement of beginning of a new era of trading Lab grown diamonds. This indeed has opened up a plethora of opportunities for the entire Diamond Industry and has set precedents for global diamond bourses to follow. For a long time the Lab grown diamond fraternity have fought to find space in the world of diamonds and this decision has come at a time that will provide a desired impetus to the Diamond sector...
